Queen Elizabeth II’s Private Diamond Collection Exhibition was a unique display of personal and historical jewels belonging to Britain’s longest serving monarch.

This exhibition was a once-in-a-lifetime display, featuring many of Her Majesty’s favourite pieces to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee. During the 20th Century, many of the Queen’s jewels were reinvented and are now worn as visual reminders of a historical past by Her Majesty and senior members of the Royal Family.

This talk focuses on many familiar jewels now owned by the Queen that will be passed on in perpetuity to the next monarch. Many of these jewels express political power as well as more personal subtle messages when worn.
