The Brooch is Back!

Since the Bronze Age, the brooch was an ornament created either to be worn on material as decoration or in some cases to keep the garment together. 


Throughout the ages brooches have been worn to signify so many things. Not only the period in which they were made but designed to show off beautiful stones as well as wonderful craftsmanship.


This talk reveals the style of a brooch and how it has changed over the centuries, including its use of precious and semi-precious stones and other characteristics that make it a wearable and desirable jewel. 


We also see how these wonderful creations have been worn both by men and women and how in the 21st century the brooch is definitely on the way back!
