Early in 2019 Adrian had the opportunity to visit St Petersburg, Florida, to view a retrospective of the work of the 20th century jewellery designer Jean Schlumberger. Inspired by nature and with his greatest patron being the American aristocrat with a green thumb; Rachel “Bunny” Mellon, this talk tells the story of Mrs Mellon’s collection, together with many other pieces by this talented jewellery designer and other notable jewellers and jewellery houses from around the world.

We not only see many of the Mellon jewels and decorative items but hear stories about one of the heirs to the Listerine fortune, who also happened to marry the heir to the Mellon banking fortune.
