Adrian spoke with Francis Leach who is now the host of the “overnight” show on local ABC Radio.

They began by talking about stones from Sri Lanka where Francis has just been on holiday. It is of course a great source for Sapphires and this lead to what stones we mine in Australia.  Red Diamonds are one such stone and incredibly rare. From there Adrian tackled listener calls and texts including his thoughts on Marcasite jewellery, star Sapphires, Opals including a triplet set pendant on chain and a late Victorian insect bar brooch.
