Welcome to my May 2025 newsletter.  Winter is finally upon us and even though things generally start quietening down at this time of year, I am well and truly inundated with work of all sorts, as well as designing some really special pieces.

One such piece is this beautiful uncut Amethyst, designed as an 18 carat gold-mounted brooch/pendant, where we used some “leftover” Diamonds that the client had sitting in a drawer. The brooch itself is based on a wonderful piece designed by Alan Yard of London back in the 1970’s but with an Australian interpretation. Each concave triangular leaf was handmade and the whole piece took over 45 hours to make. My client’s response on seeing this work of art and jewel was WOW…. multiple times!!
